Cameron Anderson Architects is an award winning, regional Architectural + Design Studio with a strong focus on innovation and Sustainable Design, founded in 2011. CAARCH are based in Mudgee, NSW and provide high quality, full service, Architectural + Interior Design services throughout NSW and Australia.
Our design process focuses on collaboration and the desire to question conventional models where our extensive contextual analysis yields sensitive and appropriate design responses. We work hard to ensure our client's budgets are strictly addressed. Our collective experience spans many disciplines, including small and large scale residential developments, educational, retail, tourism and commercial facilities.
We believe every project should embrace sustainable design principles and we pride ourselves on an attention to detail and an ability to provide individual and innovative design solutions.
CAARCH utilise the latest in 3d design, documentation and visualisation software with the office currently operating Autodesk Revit, Sketchup and Lumion. Utilising BIM technologies (Building Information Modelling) allows us to communicate to our clients in 3d from the beginning of each and every project.
CAARCH have completed projects all over NSW including Mudgee, Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo, Nyngan, Coonamble, Bourke, Coonabarabran, Walgett, Griffith, Byron Bay, Lithgow, Glen Davis and Sydney.

Pre Design Stage
We establish a project team and work with our clients to develop a detailed project brief as well as engage the required consultants on your behalf in order to get the project started. We don’t start drawing until there is a clear picture of the project, the budget and the timeframe required.

Concept Design
This is really the fun stage. Working closely with our clients were are developing sketches, diagrams, plans and 3d models to test ideas for what the project becomes. This includes both internal and exterior design concepts. The full project team are involved.

Design Development - DA
Once the overall concept design is locked down we work closely with our clients to firm up the building design to find enough resolution to be able to submit for a development application. Not necessarily the most glamorous part of the project, however critical in the overall scheme of things to have Council approval and develop a preliminary cost plan either with a QS or a builder.

Design Development - Detailed Design
Further development of the DA documentation looking at detailed interior and exterior selections. Further exploration of our 3d visualisations to communicate internal and exterior spaces. Everything from window specifications to joinery handles.

Construction Documentation + Tendering
Detailed Construction and interior documentation is critical in order to communicate accurately the intended design. Intricate details, detailed selections, joinery design and engineering coordination are all developed. Depending on the client, timeframe and local construction market tendering can take on a number of different scenarios. Currently we are working with many established builders through exclusive negotiation tendering and contract execution.

Construction Stage
In order to ensure the design is executed as intended it is critical that the construction stage of works is managed carefully with a positive relationship between builder, client and Architect. There are many parts of the construction process that are hold points where works need to be critically inspected. CAARCH can provide varying degrees of services throughout construction depending on project and client circumstances.
Architecture + Interior Design Services
Cameron Anderson is a registered Architect with the NSW Architects Registration Board. CAARCH can provide Architecture and Design services for a range of different project types with experience in individual housing and alterations, Medium and High Density, Multi Unit developments as well as Educational, Commercial, Retail and Tourism developments.
CAARCH have a dedicated interior design team who are involved in all aspects of every project. Our full Architectural Services includes interior design and we can also provide stand alone interior design services.
Drafting Services
CAARCH provide Architectural Drafting services on a range of smaller scale projects. If you do not require full Architectural + Design and Documentation Services our drafting service may be suitable/
3d Visualisation Services
CAARCH provide photorealistic renderings as part of our Architectural services. We can also provide 3d rendering as stand alone services for clients as required.
