Yeates Wines Cellar Door and Vinestay // Mudgee NSW

Originally commissioned to design a house on the exact same site some 10 years earlier for a project that was put on hold, CAARCH were approached to rework the masterplan and design the suite of buildings and forms to encompass new cellar door and associated accommodation buildings. The traditional building forms sit in the middle of the existing vineyards and a palette of rammed earth and galvanised iron provide a rural response to a contemporary tourism experience.
