Our Louisa Rd project has been granted development approval from Leichhardt Council in Sydney. The 2 storey extension to the existing terrace house sits within a sensitive heritage conservation zone and is designed to maximise the extensive harbour views to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Work at "Maidavale" near Gulgong is progressing well and this week has seen the Bellstone Travertine begin to be installed in the living areas and hall.
Earlier this year CAARCH were involved in a feasibility study to test options for a new preschool building and to assist various funding applications for the project. The proposed Center accommodates 40 children and also includes community based, consultation facilities. The building is orientated to maximise solar exposure to the main play rooms and external spaces and operable highlight glazing will provide good passive ventilation as well as increased daylight internally.
Cameron Anderson Architects have received an award for our Gladstone Street Residence at the 2014 AIA NSW Country Architecture Awards. The result was announced at the awards dinner held in Port Macquarie on the 2nd of October. The Project, located in Mudgee, NSW received the award in the category of "Residential Architecture - Alterations and Additions".
